“Enhancing access for leaving no one behind in Education”
ICEVI Regional Conferences are held every 2 years. These events bring together academics, activists and policy makers from the region, and have been successful in influencing and facilitating policy changes in several countries. The last West Asian Regional Conference was held in Nepal in February 2020 just before the Covid pandemic hit the world. This time, the conference will be held in Bangladesh for the first time. And this will be the first conference after Covid, therefore it is being planned as a hybrid event, with most of the overseas participants attending online.
The objective of the conference is to equip relevant policy makers, educators, professionals, parents and people with disabilities about advancements in the field of education of persons with disabilities, especially focusing on technology, communication, learning strategies and related matters, with a special emphasis on people with visual impairment & Deafblindness.
